Mercedes is an undergraduate student at San Diego State University. She is currently working to obtain her B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Statistics. Mercedes joined BDIL January 2018 and is working with the Toddler MRI Project. She is passionate about childhood development and neuroscience and hopes to expand her knowledge on cognitive neuroscience to better understand and provide for children with neurological disorders. In the near future she hopes to obtain her Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology with an emphasis in pediatrics.
